Udaipur – The six-day art exhibition ‘Rangodaya’, based on the theme ‘Poetry in Colours’, was inaugurated on Friday at Takman-28 Gallery, Udaipur. Organized by the Artist Council of India, the exhibition has captivated the attention of art lovers and practitioners with its vibrant and expressive works.
The chief guest for the inaugural ceremony was Shraddha Murdia, founder of Kashti Foundation, while the event was chaired by Prof. Suresh Sharma, Chairman of Takman-28. Sandeep Paliwal and Lalit Sharma were present as special guests.
The exhibition showcases the work of distinguished artists from across the country including Ajeet Verma, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Dr. Chandrashekhar Kale, Dr. Suryasnata Mohanty, Dr. Sudarshan Pal Singh, Manoj Panwar, Renu Sangwan, Shailendra Singh, Sumitra Ahlawat, and Vinita Sharma. From Udaipur, artists Chetan Audichya and Dr. Chitrasen have also presented their paintings, adding a local flavour to the national exhibit.
The exhibition is open to the public daily from 11 AM to 7 PM and will run until July 16, welcoming art enthusiasts and visitors throughout.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Chandrashekhar Kale, president of the Artist Council of India, highlighted Udaipur’s legacy as a city of art and culture. He expressed pride in hosting artists from various parts of India in such a vibrant setting.
Chief guest Shraddha Murdia praised all participating artists, emphasizing the importance of consistent artistic activities in society. She extended her greetings and appreciation on behalf of the Udaipur community to all contributing artists.
The event witnessed active participation from several local artists and art admirers, making it a remarkable celebration of Indian contemporary art.
