New Delhi. Rajasthan Ratnakar, the leading social welfare organization of the National Capital Region Delhi, organized a grand felicitation ceremony in the Bharat Mandapam auditorium of Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Sunday evening on the occasion of its golden jubilee year. On this occasion, the famous poet Chirag Jain gave an impressive presentation of 'Purushottam' based on the ideal character of Lord Shri Ram.
The chief guest of the ceremony, former President Ram Nath Kovind, said on this occasion that the Marwaris of Rajasthan had played an important role in the country's freedom movement and in getting independence. Similarly, they will also play a leading role in bringing India into the category of developed nations of the world by 2047.
He said that the history of Rajasthan has been of valour, sacrifice and self-respect and philanthropists like Bhamashah were also born in the land of Rajasthan.
Today, there are migrant Rajasthanis in every corner of the world and the proverb of their fame is still heard that where bullock cart cannot reach, Marwari can reach there. He said that to play a leading role in building the nation anew and developing India, institutions like Rajasthan Ratnakar will also have to come forward to play an important role.
On this occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta appealed to the migrant Rajasthanis to cooperate with them in every possible way in making Delhi the best and world-class capital of the world. She said that with the trust with which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given them the responsibility of development of Delhi, we will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling it. She praised the social service works and other creative works of Rajasthan Ratnakar, which has grown from a sapling to a banyan tree in the last five decades.
In this grand ceremony held in the holy presence of Brahmaswaroop Brahmachari Ji, President of Jayaram Ashram Haridwar, Delhi's Lok Sabha MP Praveen Khandelwal was the special guest. The program was presided over by the organization's patron and MP from Pali Rajasthan and President of One Nation One Election Joint Parliamentary Committee P.P. Chaudhary. Rajasthan Ratnakar Chairman Rajendra Gupta welcomed the guests at the beginning and presented the details of the organization's activities and achievements in the last fifty years.
O P Bagla, the convener of the Golden Jubilee ceremony, told that the details of the phased journey of the completion of 50 years of the organization's establishment were presented. In the ceremony, the persons who have contributed towards the development of the organization and provided social services, founder members O P Bagla and Ramesh Jaina, Satyapal Gupta, Padma Shri poet Surendra Sharma, Subhash Goyal, Satya Bhushan Jain, Chairman Rajendra Gupta, former Pradhan Shyam Sundar Gupta, Ram Avtar Shah, Raj Kumar Tulsyan, Ashok Dalmia, B R Garg, Suresh Poddar, Pushpendra Goyal, Ratan Poddar, Ramesh Kanodia and Ravi Tulsyan, Praveen Jalan and Sushil Bansal etc. were honored and the directory of the organization was also released. The organization's chairman Rajendra Gupta, Pradhan Shankar Jaipuria, vice-president Lalit Poddar and Arvind Gupta, general secretary Sumit Gupta, treasurer Praveen Jalan, minister Mukesh Gupta, vice-minister Amit Goyal, outgoing Pradhan Ramesh Kanodia, convener Omprakash Bagla, Ramesh Jaina, Satya Bhushan Jain, Sushil Bansal and all the members played a special role in the event. This golden jubilee celebration of the organization will not only be a celebration of social excellence, but will also become an inspiring platform to give a new direction to cultural consciousness.
