Lecture Held at Badgaon College on Completion of Five Years of National Education Policy 2020
Udaipur – A thoughtful lecture on the theme "From Policy to Transformation – Five Years of the National Education Policy 2020" was organized under the aegis of ABRSM Rajasthan (Higher Education) and the local unit of Government College, Badgaon.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Kailash Chandra Nagar (District Co-Secretary), elaborated on the need and current status of NEP 2020, highlighting its major dimensions. He discussed important components such as skill development, multidisciplinary education, credit transfer system, Academic Bank of Credit, National Research Foundation, and the Higher Education Council of India.
Dr. Sagar Sanwaria (District Media Head) presented the implementation process of the policy and clarified the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved.
In her presidential address, the Principal of the college, Prof. Anjana Gautam, described NEP 2020 as visionary and timely, and urged all stakeholders to work with dedication and commitment toward achieving its objectives.
This lecture proved to be an impactful initiative to review the achievements of the past five years of the policy and to understand the positive transformations brought into the education system.
