Udaipur, To address the persistent power supply issues in Udaipur’s industrial zones, a crucial meeting was held between Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) President Mr. Manish Galundia and AVVNL Zonal Chief Engineer Mr. I.R. Meena at the AVVNL office located at Patel Circle. Senior officials from all zones of AVVNL were also present.
During the meeting, Mr. Galundia raised several pressing concerns regarding electricity supply in industrial areas, highlighting frequent power tripping and unannounced outages that disrupt production and damage equipment. He emphasized the urgent need for scheduled power cut information and swift resolution of technical issues.
Zonal Chief Engineer Mr. Meena assured that the department is treating the matter with utmost seriousness and will investigate the causes to ensure uninterrupted power supply to Udaipur’s industrial sectors.

Unscheduled Power Cuts and Frequent Tripping:
Unexpected and repeated outages are causing heavy losses in production and equipment. Advance notifications and rapid technical response were requested.
Pending Implementation of the Ringman System:
Although approved by the government, the Ringman system has not yet been executed in the industrial areas. UCCI demanded immediate implementation.
Timely Maintenance of Grid Sub-Stations (GSS):
Stressing on regular and transparent maintenance, Mr. Galundia urged the department to notify industry stakeholders in advance.
Planning for Future Industrial Power Demand:
He recommended forward planning to develop the necessary infrastructure in line with the growing energy needs of industries.
Maintenance of Power Lines:
Instances of loose wires, rusted poles, and overgrown tree branches pose safety risks. Immediate surveys and corrective measures were suggested.
Quarterly Review Meetings:
Mr. Galundia proposed holding quarterly meetings between UCCI, AVVNL, and public representatives to foster ongoing dialogue and timely issue resolution.
