#### Sixth State-Level Yogasana Sports Championship 2025 Commences in Udaipur

Udaipur, The three-day Sixth State-Level Yogasana Sports Championship 2025 for the 28–55 age group was inaugurated on Saturday at the auditorium of the Agriculture College, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth. The event has been jointly organized by R.Y.S.A. Society Yogasana Bharat and Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, with participation from more than 350 yoga students representing various districts of Rajasthan.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Vice-Chancellor of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth; Shri Bhawar Lal Gurjar, Chancellor; Prof. Mahendra Singh Agariya, Minister of Vidya Pracharini Sabha Bhupal Nobles; Shri Sandeep Kasniya, Secretary; Ms. Dimple Solanki, President; Prof. Saroj Garg; and Dr. Rohit Kumawat, Vice-President. The dignitaries paid floral tribute to Maa Saraswati and lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the commencement of the championship.

On the first day, participants showcased various yogasanas, leaving the guests and audience enthralled. Winners of the inaugural rounds were felicitated with mementoes and certificates by the dignitaries. Students of Shri Vidya Forest School added vibrancy to the event with cultural performances on yoga-based songs. A message from Guru Maa Bhuvaneshwari Puri was also read aloud on the occasion. The entire competition is being conducted with full transparency and recording.

In his address, Prof. Sarangdevot emphasized that asana is a profound discipline that must be practiced with precision. “When performed correctly, asana leads to liberation and salvation. Asana is not merely a part of yoga—it is the very foundation of life. It is the medium to connect with the divine and a way for a person to look within. Asana reflects human values and must be preserved. Every individual should make it an integral part of their life,” he remarked.

The event was attended by Bharat Pal Singh, Harvinder Singh, Suresh Kumar, Karnipal Singh, Balram Singh, Gajraj Shaktawat, Rakesh Suthar, Rakshat Layat, Dr. Ami Rathore, Dr. Rachna Rathore, Shri Krishnakant Kumawat (Private Secretary), Dr. Mamta Kumawat, Saurabh Singh, Dr. Subhash Purohit, and a large number of students.

The program was conducted by Shavi Malu and Dr. Payal Kumawat, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Rohit Kumawat.
