RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR ARMY WIVES AND CHILDREN IN PRIVATE SECTOR
A POSITIVE INITIATIVE BY HQ 61 SUB AREA AND AWPO JAIPUR MILITARY STATION
Jaipur: A special recruitment drive for Veer Naris, Army wives and children was conducted by HEADQUARTERS 61 Sub Area and Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), Jaipur Military Station, in association with SBI Life Insurance Pvt Ltd, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Pvt Ltd and QUESS CORP Ltd as part of AWWA Week celebrations at Jaipur Military Station.
Col Rajesh Bhukar, Director AWPO informed that a total of 04 Veer Naris, 13 Army wives, and 15 dependents (boys and girls) participated in the drive and applied for the jobs. After a detailed interactive session between the candidates and company representatives, finally 02 Veer Naris, 11 Army wives and 11 Children were shortlisted and cleared for a second round of interviews to be held at company locations.
While addressing the candidates and the company representatives, Mrs. Shivani Mehrotra, President AWWA 61 Sub Area appreciated the initiative for creating jobs for Veer Naris, Army wives and children and thanked the companies for providing opportunities to the military fraternity. Col Rajesh Bhukar, Director AWPO appreciated the AWWA and Companies response to this new beginning and assured to continue this in future.
