Musical tribute on singer’s 49th death anniversary

#### Mukesh Night in Udaipur

| On the 49th death anniversary of legendary playback singer Mukesh Chandra Mathur, Shri Chitragupt Sabha organized a melodious evening titled “Mukesh Night” at Vigyan Samiti Bhawan. More than 30 community members paid tribute by singing Mukesh’s evergreen songs.

The event began with Ganesh Vandana, followed by floral tributes, lamp-lighting, and garlanding of Mukesh’s portrait by Sabha President Bhuvneshwar Mathur, Vice President Narendra Prasad Mathur, Joint Secretary Jagdish Narayan Mathur, and senior members Amarlal Mathur, Mahendra Mathur, Shivnarayan Mathur, Prem Bihari Nag, Devendra Mathur, and Deepak Mathur.

Classic melodies like “Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon,” “Chandan Sa Badan,” “Chaand Aahen Bharega,” “Saawan Ka Mahina,” “Saaranga Teri Yaad Mein,” and “Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega” filled the auditorium, creating an emotional and nostalgic atmosphere. First-time performers also left a strong impression, winning applause and encouragement from the audience.

In his address, Sabha President Bhuvneshwar Mathur emphasized the importance of celebrating community events with enthusiasm and treating each gathering as a festival. He expressed gratitude to all artists and attendees, urging continued cooperation in future cultural and religious programs.

The evening was anchored by Rajkumar Mathur, Yogita Mathur, and Moomal Mathur. After the program, participants enjoyed a community dinner. The vote of thanks was delivered by Chief Secretary Dinesh Mathur.
