Geetanjali Hospital Launches World Heart Day Awareness Month
Senior citizens guided on ways to keep the heart healthy
Udaipur, In the run-up to World Heart Day, which is observed globally in September, Geetanjali Hospital has initiated a series of public awareness activities dedicated to heart health. As part of this initiative, Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Rohin K. Saini participated in the 19th Foundation Day celebration of Maharana Pratap Senior Citizens’ Association, held at Krishna Vatika.
On this occasion, Dr. Saini sensitized the senior citizens about practical measures to keep the heart healthy and actively engaged with the audience through an interactive question-and-answer session. The hospital team further extended free medical consultations to the members of the association, along with on-the-spot blood pressure and sugar check-ups.
Adding a cultural touch to the celebration, a delightful Kavi Sammelan was organized. Poetess Dr. Kavita Kiran invoked the blessings of Goddess Saraswati with a soulful rendition, while noted humorist poet Pandit Sunil Vyas entertained the gathering with his witty verses that filled the atmosphere with laughter.
The event highlighted not only the importance of health awareness among senior citizens but also reinforced the spirit of community bonding through culture, wellness, and care.
