Golden Rays Public School Honors Boxing Champions
Six Medals Won at District-Level Tournament
Udaipur, A felicitation ceremony was held this morning in the prayer assembly at the campus of Golden Rays Public School to honor the school’s young boxers who excelled in the 69th District-Level Boxing Championship held from 4–7 September 2025 at Blooming Angels International School.
The school athletes brought glory by securing a total of six medals – 4 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
Under-17 Boys: Dilpreet Singh – Gold, Arpit – Silver, Karan – Bronze
Under-17 Girls: Manisha – Gold, Parmdeep – Gold, Nancy – Gold
The winners were felicitated with floral garlands by the school management, and the entire campus resonated with thunderous applause as the students proudly displayed their medals. The ceremony inspired fellow students to pursue excellence in future competitions and bring laurels to both school and society.
Director Mr. Ajay Chandel remarked, “This is just the beginning; many more milestones in sports await us. We will continue to strengthen our team with more young warriors. This achievement is not only a matter of pride for the school but also for the community at large.”
Principal Mrs. Simranjeet Bhatia added, “Excellence in sports is as important as academics. Sports empower students physically, build confidence, and guide them toward a fulfilling life. Golden Rays Public School equally emphasizes both education and sports for the holistic development of every child.”
On this occasion, the school’s coaches were also honored for their dedication and tireless efforts. The management extended heartfelt congratulations to the victorious players, their coaches, and parents, wishing them continued success in the future.
