Training Program Organized Under PACS Computerization Scheme
Capacity Building for Committee Managers in Rishabhdev Branch
Udaipur, As part of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 declared by the United Nations, a one-day training program was organized for committee managers of the Rishabhdev branch operational area. The event was held at the Rajivika Training Centre auditorium under Rishabhdev Panchayat Samiti. The prime objective of the training was to familiarize committee managers with the various functions to be undertaken under the PACS Computerization Scheme.
It is noteworthy that the PACS Computerization Scheme is one of the flagship initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, aimed at digitizing the functioning of rural cooperative committees. Through computerization, committee operations will become faster, more efficient, and transparent.
In the first session, NABARD Udaipur Regional Development Manager, Mr. Neeraj Yadav, guided the committee managers on precautions to be observed while making voucher entries in the ERP software. He explained that based on the voucher entries, the software would automatically generate the balance sheet and profit-loss account of the committee. Moreover, auditors would also be able to conduct system audits seamlessly through this software.
In the second session, trainer Ms. Nikita Jain elaborated on daily tasks such as Day-End closing, System Audit, E-PACS and H.O.C. Certification. She also discussed practical solutions to commonly faced issues on the portal, enabling managers to handle operational challenges effectively.
The final session featured Bank’s Chief Manager, Mr. K.L. Sharma, who explained the loan process for Joint Liability Groups. He emphasized that under this scheme, not only Rajivika women but other citizen groups could also access bank loans under easy terms. Senior Loan Manager, Mr. Vishal Jain, provided detailed insights into the application process of the Gopal Credit Card Loan Scheme and encouraged committee managers and participants to avail themselves of the benefits of this scheme.
The program witnessed participation from around 50 committee managers of Rishabhdev branch area, along with Branch Manager Mr. Kaluram Meena and other bank staff members.
