The program commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. Kalpana Goyal, Founder of Tara Sansthan. Representatives of the Time Bank of India, Mr. M.K. Mathur, Mr. A.K. Gupta, and Mr. K.K. Sharma, shared insights on the functioning and significance of the Time Bank with the gathering.
During the ceremony, 90 senior citizens above the age of 65 years were honored for their contributions to society with turban, shawl, and citation certificates. The event was jointly conducted by Mrs. Kalpana Goyal, Mrs. Alka Jain, Mrs. Arti Chittora, Mrs. Meenakshi Soni, and Mr. Satish Kalal.
On this occasion, Mrs. Janak Bangad donated a wheelchair to the institute for the comfort of elderly residents. In addition, Time Bank members announced support for providing bedsheets and knee-caps to aid senior citizens.
Media Coordinator Prof. Dr. Vimal Sharma informed that, prior to the ceremony, Time Bank members paid a heartfelt visit to the residents of Tara Sansthan’s old-age home and assured that such visits would continue regularly.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. K.K. Sharma, followed by a graceful community feast that marked the successful completion of the event.
