Law Students of Pacific School of Law Visit Lok Adalat
Udaipur | The students of Pacific School of Law, under Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, Udaipur, undertook an educational visit to the Lok Adalat on September 13, 2025. During the visit, the students closely observed and understood the functioning of this alternative mechanism of justice delivery.
At the outset, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Hemant Kothari, addressed the students and highlighted the significance and utility of Lok Adalat. He stated that Lok Adalat not only makes the justice process simple, accessible, and speedy, but also promotes mutual understanding and reconciliation within society.
Principal of Pacific School of Law, Dr. Pushpa (name not clear in source text), also briefed the students about the functioning of Lok Adalat. She emphasized that Lok Adalat is an important form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), playing a vital role in the Indian judicial system.
The visit proved to be highly informative and inspiring for the students. They witnessed firsthand how pending cases are resolved amicably through compromise and mutual agreement.
