Engineers’ Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Pacific University
Udaipur | The Faculty of Engineering at Pacific University celebrated Engineers’ Day with great enthusiasm on September 15, 2025. The program began with an inspiring address by University President, Prof. Hemant Kothari, who emphasized that engineers form the foundation of societal development. He urged students to combine technical expertise with ethics and responsibility, while highlighting that the future of engineering lies in innovation and sustainable development.
Following this, Prof. Dilendra Hiran, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, briefed students on current government initiatives and the opportunities available for engineers. He explained how schemes like Make in India and Digital India are encouraging youth to pursue startups, research, and technological advancements.
The Chief Guest of the event, Engineer Aniruddh Kothari, Director of Auto 360 Udaipur, spoke about the life and contributions of Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He encouraged students to contribute to the nation’s growth with creativity and hard work, focusing on new technologies, automation, and skill development.
As part of the celebration, poster and debate competitions were organized. In the debate competition, Ronak Ameta secured first place, Nakul Jain second, and Naman third. In the poster competition, Namrata and Priyanka jointly won first place, Palak stood second, while Shaheen Khan and Moli Jain jointly won third place.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Naresh Menaria, while Dr. Akshat Singh Jhala, Coordinator of the Faculty of Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks. Winners were announced and awarded. The celebration concluded in a spirited atmosphere with enthusiastic participation from students.
