Udaipur, The 69th District Level School Lawn Tennis Championship (Under-17 & Under-19 categories), hosted at Government Senior Secondary School, Dhar, witnessed thrilling team matches that concluded today. The competition showcased remarkable performances by young talents, winning admiration from the audience.
According to Observer Bhavana Batra, in the Under-19 Boys’ team event, Rockwood School claimed the first position, followed by St. Teresa School in second place and CPS School in third. In the Under-17 Boys’ category, Navbharat School emerged champions, MDS School secured second place, while St. Paul’s School finished third.
In the Girls’ Singles events, players impressed with their skillful displays:
Under-17: Ayesha Bandhla secured first place, Vaishvi Meena came second, and Harshika finished third.
Under-19: Saifi Patel clinched the top spot, Poorvika stood second, while Bhavika secured third place.
In the Boys’ Singles, the early rounds provided intense competition:
The Under-17 final will be played between Apoorv Jain and Kanishk Dangi.
The Under-19 final will see Navya Bhatt face Harshil.
Before the matches, the players were introduced to eminent sports personalities, including international Tennis Ball Cricket gold medalist Gomti Gameti, Asian Lacrosse Games Indian team selectees Dayashankar Gameti, Narayan Lal Gameti, Yashoda Gameti, along with Prem Singh Bhati, Sardar Singh, Anukul Mishra, Kushal Bhogara, and Kamlesh Vyas.
