Service Commitment Realized Through Public Welfare Camps

Udaipur, The ongoing urban and rural service camps in Udaipur district have begun to fulfill the true spirit of service from the very first day. Long-pending grievances of citizens were addressed instantly, bringing visible relief and smiles to their faces.

Pension Verification at Home
In the Gram Panchayat Karanpur of Vallabhnagar subdivision, pension verification was carried out at the residence of a 72-year-old woman, Smt. Ramudi Uda, who has been unable to walk for the last three years. Due to her immobility, her pension had been discontinued. Junior Accountant of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Vinay Gurjar, visited her home, conducted verification through the Raj SSP portal, and ensured the resumption of her pension. The elderly woman expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the administration.

Three-Decade Wait Ends
At the camp in Kailashpuri under Badgaon subdivision, a case of name correction in the land records was resolved. The matter, pending for nearly 30 years, was settled within 25 minutes under the supervision of SDM Latika Paliwal. In the presence of Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, Additional District Magistrate Dipendra Singh Rathore, and Principal Secretary T. Ravikant, the corrected Jamabandi copy was handed over to the beneficiary Ugamkunwar Devi.

Support for Daughter’s Marriage
In Kanthariya village of Jhadol subdivision, financial assistance of ₹41,000 was sanctioned under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana for Devi Kumari, daughter of Shri Maliya. Likewise, registration under the Mukhyamantri Vishwakarma Pension Yojana was facilitated for Shri Khyalilal, while a residential land lease was issued on the spot to Shri Ramlal Kumhar. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister, the Minister for Tribal Area Development, and the district administration.

Assistance to the Differently Abled
In Ladani Gram Panchayat of Mavli subdivision, differently abled Smt. Raju Bai, who was unable to access disability pension benefits, received immediate relief. With the intervention of Junior Accountant Kiran Kunwar Chundawat and Information Assistant Subhash Chandra Gurjar, her disability certificate was issued and her Jan Aadhaar details updated for pension verification. Additionally, a UDID card application was filed for mentally challenged Shri Vikram.
