In 12 Hours, Three Eye Donations in Hadoti Division Will Restore Sight to Six People

In the past 12 hours, three eye donations were successfully carried out in Hadoti Division with the support of the Shine India Foundation.

On Monday morning, the sudden demise of Dayabai, mother of Leeladhar and Tikam Maheshwari from Swami Vivekanand Nagar, was reported to the foundation through Jyoti Mitra Omprakash Laddha. With the family’s consent, the eye donation was completed. It is noteworthy that Dayabai’s brother-in-law, Srinath Laddha, had also donated his eyes in 2022 with the support of the foundation.

Later in the evening, the sudden demise of Babulal Gund, father of Kuldeep and Sushil Kumar from Dadabari, was reported by his brother Shravan Kumar Gund, a Jyoti Mitra of the organization. Shravan mentioned that in 2018, Babulal’s wife Swarna Rani, his sister Motia Rani, and brother-in-law Manohar Bhardwaj had also donated their eyes through the foundation.

Dr. Kulwant Gaur, founder of the foundation, added that even at 3:00 AM, an eye donation was received from Kadodia village in Jhalawar district, 130 kilometers from Kota.

Thus, within 12 hours, three precious eye donations from Hadoti Division were successfully completed, offering the gift of sight to six people.
