Udaipur, The Hindi Fortnight celebrations at Akashvani Udaipur, organized from September 14 to 29, concluded with enthusiasm on Monday. Throughout the fortnight, employees and officers actively participated in activities aimed at promoting the use and implementation of Hindi.
Director Encouraged Commitment to Hindi
Presiding over the valedictory ceremony, Director Ravindra Doongarwal said that Hindi is not merely a spoken language but also a living heritage that carries a vibrant history. He encouraged everyone to pledge to work in Hindi throughout the year and to strive for achieving the set goals with full dedication. Certificates and prizes were distributed to all winners of the competitions on this occasion.
Emphasis on Transparent Competitions
Cluster Head and Deputy Director General of the Centre, Rajendra Nahar, congratulated the centre for conducting various competitions during the fortnight with high standards and transparency. He also directed that, as the centre falls under the ‘Ka’ region, all official work should be carried out 100 percent in Hindi.
Winners of Various Contests Announced
Rajbhasha Officer Vinod Sharma shared details of the competitions. In the translation contest, Anil Rayal secured first place, followed by Shriram Nagar and Brijmohan Bhavsar. In the commentary, letter writing, and Hindi knowledge contests, Nishikant Bhatt, Anil Rayal, and Gajendra Singh Rathore bagged the first, second, and third positions respectively. In the extempore speech contest, Gajendra Singh Rathore stood first, while Jitendra Dhenwal and Brijmohan Bhavsar secured the second and third positions.
