Dean of the college, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahla, offered flowers before the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, recalling their sacrifice and dedication. He urged students, faculty, and staff to follow the path of truth and non-violence as shown by these great leaders.
During the program, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Dean of the College of Dairy and Food Technology, highlighted the contribution of Lal Bahadur Shastri in laying the foundation of the Green Revolution and the White Revolution, which made India self-reliant in food production.
Assistant Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. S.S. Lakhawat, also paid floral tribute to the leaders and expressed gratitude to all participants.
The program witnessed the presence of senior faculty members, heads of departments, staff, and students of the college, who together commemorated the legacy of these national icons.
