Gandhi’s Thoughts Provide Means to Fight Fascism : Chaudhary

Udaipur, The thoughts of Gandhi and his ways of resistance provide means to fight the rising power of Fascism in India and elsewhere. He adopted the weapons of non-violence and Satyagraha to fight the British Empire. Today the Imperialism has taken a new shape in the form of right wing corporate domination. This can be fought by the means Mahatma Gandhi employed in the freedom struggle of India. This was stated by Shankar Lal Chaudhary , state secretary of the CPI (ML). Leaders of Janatantrik Vichar Manch and Left parties assembled in the morning of October 2nd near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gulab Bagh and paid homage to the father of the nation. Convenor of Janatantrik Vichar Manch Engineer Piyush Joshi, Co-convenenor Prof. Hemendra Chandalia, district secretary of CPIM Rajesh Singhvi, Advocate Bharat Singh Rao, Comrade Heera Lal Salvi, Senior Journalist Himmat Seth, district secretary of CPI (ML) Dr. Chandra Dev Ola and many other activists were present on the occasion. Piyush Joshi said that it is a pity that those responsible for the killing of Gandhiji are ruling the country. Prof. Hemendra Chandalia said that the coin released on Gandhi Jayanti does not have the image of Gandhi, national symbol Ashok Stambh or the national flag. The image of the coin carries the RSS flag which is not the national flag so the coin has no legal validity. It is a shame that the Prime Minister himself released the coin. The slogans of “Mahatma Gandhi Amar Rahe” were raised on the occasion.
