DPS Udaipur Students Shine in District-Level Karate Competition
Udaipur . Students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur showcased remarkable performance in the district-level karate competition organized by the School Games Federation of India. The school secured first place in the Under-19 Boys category and second place in the Under-17 Girls category.
Karate coach Mr. Manish Salvi stated that the competition was held from September 14 to 17, 2025, where all DPS karate students demonstrated exceptional skill and talent, earning positions across various categories.
In the Under-19 Boys category, Shivraj Singh Devda won the gold medal, while Dabhi Ruturaj Singh Shyam Singh, Arvind Parmar, and Janak Singh Rathore secured silver medals, and UV Nebhnani, Kushagra Sharma, Aditya Barwar, Garvit Kadela, and Kanishk Mishra received bronze medals.
In the Under-17 Girls category, Shambhavi Loknathan, Vatsala Sharma, and Shanaya Jain won gold medals, while Divisha Bapna, Avni Vaishnav, Hridaya Tiwari, Kamya Pradhan, and Yashika Rajawat earned bronze medals.
Among these students, Vatsala Sharma, Shanaya Jain, Shivraj Singh Devda, and Shambhavi Loknathan were selected for the state-level competition, where Vatsala Sharma went on to win a bronze medal with her exceptional performance.
On this achievement, Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwaria, Vice-Principal Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai, and Headmistress Mrs. Varushree Banerjee congratulated all the students and their parents, extending their best wishes for future success.
