Energy Minister Heera Lal Nagar on Friday visited multiple villages, including Khajuri, Theekli, Khadipur, Alyahedi, Umarhedi, Kacholia, Khedli Kakuniya, Garmodi, Baluheda, Palaheda, and Rupahera. During his visit, he held Gram Chaupal meetings and reviewed the overall cleanliness and public service arrangements in the villages.
During an interaction in village Umarhedi, locals complained about a school teacher allegedly taking home wheat meant for the mid-day meal program. They accused him of negligence, claiming he often said, “What else will you do—just get me transferred?” and spent most of his time on his mobile phone.
Minister Heera Lal Nagar immediately summoned the teacher and gave him a stern lesson on duty and accountability. Dissatisfied with the teacher’s answers, he personally visited the school, interacted with students, and asked them questions in English and Mathematics.
When several children failed to respond, the minister reprimanded the teacher and urged him to fulfill his teaching responsibilities with sincerity and commitment.
