Amitabh Bachchan to Lend Voiceover for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’
Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will provide the voiceover for Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film “120 Bahadur”, directed by Rajneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandra (Trigger Happy Studios).
The announcement came via a new promo released for a special episode of the popular TV show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” celebrating Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday. The promo features Javed Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar sharing the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan, reminiscing about their long-standing bonds and sharing lighthearted moments.
A highlight of the promo occurs when Amitabh Bachchan inquires about Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film. Farhan explains the story of the brave soldiers who fought against 3,000 Chinese troops in the Rezang La battle, and then makes a special request to Amitabh Bachchan: to narrate the opening scene of the film. Farhan says, “Our film begins with a narrator explaining the events at Rezang La. It would be an honor if you could be the voice for our opening scene.” The megastar gladly accepts, creating an emotional and memorable moment in the episode.
The promo has already gone viral on social media, with fans praising the unique on-screen interaction between Amitabh Bachchan and the Akhtar family. The episode is expected to be a celebration of Amitabh Bachchan’s incredible cinematic legacy, blending memories, emotions, and the magic of cinema.
