Advika of Delhi Public School, Udaipur Wins Silver Medal in State-Level Chess Championship

Udaipur – Advika Sarupria, a talented student of Delhi Public School, Udaipur, showcased an exceptional performance at the State-Level Sub-Junior Girls Chess Championship held in Alwar, securing the silver medal.

For her outstanding achievement, Advika was honored with a trophy and a cash prize of ₹4100. Throughout the tournament, she displayed remarkable skill by defeating Ishal Dadhich from Ajmer, Anwesha Vyas from Bikaner, Vania Duhan and Aradhya Upadhyay from Bhilwara, and Jaipuri players Kevalya Goenka and Nitisha Agarwal. Her match against Shreshta Jain of Jaipur ended in an exciting draw.

The championship was organized from 12th to 13th October, with participation from over 200 players representing 23 districts of Rajasthan. Based on her excellent performance, Advika has been selected to represent the state in the upcoming National Sub-Junior Chess Championship, to be held in Ghaziabad next month.

The entire school community expressed immense pride and joy over her accomplishment. Prof. Govind Agrawal, Vice Chairman of the school, Principal Sanjay Narwariya, and all teachers congratulated Advika and extended their best wishes for her future success.
