Sojatia Jewellers Brings Diwali Joy to Underprivileged Community
Udaipur: In a heartwarming initiative, Sojatia Jewellers distributed clothes, blankets, and food packets to over 500 underprivileged individuals today, ensuring they too could celebrate the joy of Diwali. While Diwali is a festival celebrated by everyone in their own way, this year, Sojatia Jewellers chose to share the festival’s happiness with those who have been deprived of such celebrations for years.
Dr. Mahendra Sojatia personally identified various locations in the city where underprivileged individuals could be reached and invited them to the showroom. By 8 a.m., more than 500 beneficiaries had arrived, and they were astonished by the sight of the showroom. Prof. Ranjitsingh Sojatia stated that the underprivileged community also has every right to celebrate Diwali, but financial constraints often prevent them from doing so. This initiative was aimed at bridging that gap and ending such disparities.
Through the Sojatia Charitable Trust, all participants were honored and gifted new clothes, blankets, sweets, and food packets by Reena Sojatia, Dr. Dhruv Sojatia, Sakshi Sojatia, and Nehal Sojatia, bringing visible joy and sparkle to their eyes. Many recipients expressed that they had never experienced a Diwali like this in their lives, and the day would be remembered as a festival of dignity and respect.
Men received pant-shirt sets, while women were gifted sarees. Workers from areas including Hathipol and Pahada were present to receive the gifts. Dr. Sojatia emphasized that those who have the means must contribute to society, and such acts bring satisfaction not only to the beneficiaries but also to the givers. Dr. Mukesh Shrimali was also present at the event. Sojatia Jewellers has maintained this annual tradition of spreading Diwali joy to the underprivileged community each year.
