Efforts by Suron Ki Mandali Bearing Fruit; Steps Progressing Toward Establishing a Music Museum in Udaipur: Mukesh Madhwani
Udaipur: Music lovers of the City of Lakes have reason to rejoice, as the initiative by Suron Ki Mandali to establish a Music Museum in Udaipur is steadily taking shape.
Founder Mukesh Madhwani informed that members of the Mandali recently met Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Shikha Saxena, and presented a formal proposal for the establishment of a Music Museum in the city.
Madhwani explained that the objective of this initiative is to preserve Udaipur’s centuries-old musical heritage and connect the younger generation with diverse forms of music. The proposed museum is envisioned to become a hub of inspiration for local artists, music students, and researchers alike.
Deputy Director Shikha Saxena appreciated the concept and noted that there is currently no dedicated music museum in Rajasthan. She added that once established, this museum would not only become a center of attraction for music enthusiasts but also a unique destination for tourists visiting Udaipur.
Expressing gratitude for this positive response, Suron Ki Mandali conveyed confidence that the Udaipur Music Museum would soon emerge as a landmark of cultural identity and a model for the entire state.
Those present on the occasion included Mukesh Madhwani, Narayan Lal Lohar, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Amba Lal Sahu, Ramesh Dattwani, Vishnu Vaishnav, Moinuddin, Dilip Verma, Jaykishan Aswani, Dayaram Suthar, S. K. Mehta, Lakshmi Aswani, Nutan Vedi, Amrita Bokadia, Riya Kalra, and Rajkumar Bapna, among other music enthusiasts.
