Tulsi Vivah Celebrated at Narayan Seva Sansthan

Udaipur, On the auspicious occasion of Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi, a joyous Tulsi–Shaligram Vivah ceremony was held at Seva Mahatirth, Badi Village, under the auspices of Narayan Seva Sansthan.

The event commenced with Ganapati and Kalash Sthapana, followed by traditional wedding rituals including toran, haldi, mehendi, and bindoli. Later, the Shaligram ji’s wedding procession started from the Vaishno-Devi temple premises, amidst devotional chants and enthusiasm.

The Panigrahan (sacred marriage ritual) was solemnized in the presence of Virendra Kumar and Geeta Devi (NRI couple from the USA) representing the groom’s side, and Lalit Kumar and Anju Devi from Kaithal, Haryana representing the bride’s side.

Prior to the ceremony, Prashant Agarwal, President of Narayan Seva Sansthan, conveyed that the Tulsi Vivah embodies the sacred and fortunate essence of Sanatan culture. The rituals were performed at dusk under the guidance of Pandit Vikas Upadhyay and Pandit Upendra Shastri.

Among those present were the Sansthan’s trustees and directors — Devendra Chaubisa, Rakesh Sharma, Vishnu Sharma Hiteshi, Rohit Tiwari, Anil Acharya, Dilip Chauhan, and Banshilal Meghwal, along with differently-abled individuals and their families from across the country who had come for free surgeries.
