Weekly Review Meeting Held Under District Collector’s Chairmanship

Jaisalmer, November 3: A weekly review meeting was organized at the District Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Pratap Singh. The meeting reviewed the progress of flagship schemes, budget announcements, ongoing departmental works, grievances received from the Chief Minister’s Office, pending cases on the Sampark Portal, inter-departmental issues, and several welfare and development programs including the PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, and Karmabhoomi se Matribhumi Yojana. Officials were directed to achieve the assigned targets within stipulated timelines.

Land Leases to Be Issued to Schools Within 15 Days
The Collector instructed that land leases for 11 schools under Jaisalmer Municipal Council and 39 schools in rural areas be issued within 15 days. The Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, was asked to ensure lease allotment through Gram Vikas Officers. Additionally, for 29 schools without electricity where the demand exceeds ₹10,000, the District Education Officer (Secondary) was directed to apply for new power connections to ensure timely electrification.

Focus on Flagship and Welfare Schemes
Reviewing flagship schemes, the Collector directed all departments to achieve measurable progress. The Assistant Director (Social Justice) was instructed to complete verification of Palanharr and pension beneficiaries, while the Labour Welfare Officer was asked to accelerate the E-Shram Yojana.

Special Focus on PM Surya Ghar Yojana
The Collector directed the Superintending Engineer (PHED) to ensure timely water supply in both rural and urban areas. The Electricity Department was asked to provide priority connections to four PHED tube wells. He also stressed expediting progress under PM Surya Ghar Yojana by installing rooftop solar panels on government buildings and completing GSS construction under RDDSS within set deadlines. Directions were also given to provide three-phase connections to Kasturba Gandhi Schools at Nachna and Bhadariya.

Priority Disposal of Pending Cases
Officials were instructed to promptly address pending cases with the Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission, Lokayukta, Chief Minister’s Office, Sampark Portal, and various courts. The Collector emphasized timely and effective resolution of grievances, especially those pending for over 30 days, and called for improving average disposal time and satisfaction levels.

Review of E-Filing and Departmental Progress
The Collector instructed all departments to ensure timely e-filing of official work and to submit weekly progress reports. Detailed discussions were held on departmental pendency, with an emphasis on further reducing average disposal times.

Comprehensive Discussion on Departmental Issues
The meeting covered pending electricity connections and transformer shifting, Lado Protsahan Yojana, electricity and water connections in Anganwadis and schools, land allotment, boundary wall construction, scholarship schemes, Palanharr Yojana, and Food Security Scheme cases. All concerned officers were directed to complete their respective works within time limits.
