#### PIMS Psychiatry Residents Shine as Runners-Up in Intercollege Quiz on 5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
Udaipur : On the 5th anniversary celebration of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Department of Psychiatry, Geetanjali Medical College, Udaipur, organized an Inter-College Postgraduate Quiz Competition supported by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The event was based on the theme “Say No to Drugs and Say Yes to Life.”
All six medical colleges of Udaipur—RNT Medical College, Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences, GBH Medical College, and both campuses of Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences—actively participated. The quiz featured five intense rounds focused on Addiction Psychiatry, sparking enthusiastic and competitive participation among residents.
Representing Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), second-year psychiatry resident Dr. Divya Chadha and first-year resident Dr. Neilanka Ghosh showcased remarkable performance, tying scores with the host team from Geetanjali Medical College in a nail-biting finale. Dr. Divya Chadha’s exceptional knowledge and quick responses earned special appreciation from faculty members of all participating institutions.
PIMS emerged as Runner-Up in the competition and received accolades from Dean and Professor Dr. Suresh Goyal, Medical Director Dr. Kamlesh Shekhawat, and Professor & Head Dr. Praveen Khairkar of the Department of Psychiatry. The management extended gratitude to Managing Director Mr. Naman Aggarwal for his continued encouragement and support toward academic and extracurricular excellence.
The event successfully reinforced the vital message of drug-free living among young medical minds, inspiring college students across the state to take a stand for a healthier, addiction-free society.
