Udaipur. The three-day grand religious celebration marking the Prakash Parv (birth anniversary) of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj concluded with great reverence and devotion at Vaikunth Dham, Shaktinagar. The celebration, which began on November 3, concluded on Wednesday, featuring continuous recitations of Guru Granth Sahib, Japji Sahib, and various Gurbani hymns.
Guruji Shailesh Brijwani of Vaikunth Dham shared that on the third and final day of the event, November 5, the morning began at 7:00 a.m. with the Asa Di Vaar Paath followed by Katha Kartik at 7:45 a.m. Later, the final Aarti and Ardaas were performed at 11:30 a.m., marking the completion of the rituals. The event concluded with the distribution of Langar Prasad, which was partaken by hundreds of devotees in an atmosphere of deep faith and community harmony.
Following the culmination of prayers, a divine Langar was organized, where devotees came together to partake in the holy meal. The Langar beautifully reflected Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings of selfless service and equality, as people from all backgrounds sat together beyond distinctions of caste, creed, or status, embodying the essence of unity and devotion.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and messages continue to guide humanity towards love, compassion, truth, and universal brotherhood. His teachings of “Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, and Vand Chhako” (meditate, work honestly, and share with others) were symbolically represented throughout the celebration, inspiring all attendees to live by these eternal principles.
The sacred celebration deeply touched the hearts of the devotees, who immersed themselves in the divine words of Gurbani, experiencing spiritual tranquility and purification. A large number of devotees from Udaipur and surrounding areas participated in the event, making it a memorable and soul-enriching celebration of faith and harmony.
