NCTE Chairman Prof. Pankaj Arora to Confer PhD Degrees and Gold Medals

21st Convocation of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth on November 13

Udaipur. The 21st Convocation Ceremony of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University) will be held on November 13, as announced in a preparatory meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot.

Prof. Sarangdevot informed that the Chief Guest for the event will be Prof. Pankaj Arora, Chairman, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Government of India. The Guest of Honour will be Prof. Pratapsingh Chauhan, Vice Chancellor, Bhakt Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, Junagadh (Gujarat); and Prof. Kailash Sodani, Advisor to the Governor (Higher Education). Prof. B.L. Verma, Vice Chancellor, Kota Open University, will also grace the occasion. The ceremony will be presided over by Kul Pramukh and Chancellor Shri Bhawar Lal Gurjar.

More than 5,000 students and distinguished citizens of Udaipur are expected to attend the event. PhD scholars will be awarded their degrees, while students securing first position in undergraduate and postgraduate examinations for the year 2024–25 will receive gold medals and merit certificates.

Controller of Examinations Dr. Paras Jain informed that 44 students from various disciplines—Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Agriculture, Computer Science, MBA, Social Work, and Education—will be honoured with Gold Medals.

All awardees have been instructed to wear white traditional attire—kurta-pajama for male students and white salwar-kurta or saree for female students—during the convocation ceremony.
