DPS Udaipur Celebrates Grand Parents’ Day with Great Enthusiasm
Udaipur — Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur celebrated Grand Parents’ Day with grandeur and joy from 10th to 12th November 2025 for students of both CBSE and Cambridge wings. The three-day celebration aimed to remind the younger generation of the invaluable role grandparents play in preserving traditions and values in modern times. The event witnessed the participation of around 750 attendees, including students, grandparents, and parents.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a melodious bhajan performance by the students. The little ones enchanted the audience with recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa, solo dances, and soulful songs. Mrs. Apoorva Agarwal, member of the school management, welcomed the guests and emphasized that grandparents are a divine blessing whose love and wisdom can never be replaced.
Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwaria addressed the gathering with his inspiring words, expressing gratitude to the grandparents for their constant affection and guidance.
Students presented heartwarming speeches in English and Hindi, beautiful poems, and an engaging skit by the prep students that left the audience deeply moved. Energetic aerobic and group dance performances added color and excitement to the event.
Grandparents and parents also shared their thoughts and experiences, making the day even more meaningful. Winners of the English Poetry Competition and the Intra-Class Science Competition organized under the Cambridge wing were honored with certificates of appreciation.
The celebration concluded with fun-filled games, prize distribution, and a vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable event filled with love, laughter, and joy.
Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Govind Agarwal encouraged students to understand the importance of grandparents’ roles in their lives and to nurture a deep emotional bond with them.
