First list of the 12th Rajasthan International Film Festival - RIFF 2026 Announced

* A total of 25 films have been selected in the First list of Official Selection of RIFF 2026
*USA-India-FRANCE Coproduction International Feature Film "THE GREAT DEPARTURE " starring Xavier Samuel, Sonal Sehgal to be screened
*Rajasthani Feature Film "OMLO" directed by Sonu Randeep Choudhary will be also screened.
National - 14th Nov 2025 : The 12th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), accredited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI) North Region, will be held from from 31 Jan. to 4th Feb 2026 at Miraj Cinemas, Bluecity Mall, Circuit House Road, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - India. This year the Theme for the RIFF 2026 is "CINEMASTHAN - YOUR LENS , OUR RAJASTHAN". The event will also mark a decade of RIFF’s successful journey in promoting cinema in Rajasthan.
The First list of the 12th Rajasthan International Film Festival 2026 was released today where a total of 25 films have been officially selected in RIFF Competition Section, in which 9 films have been selected in the feature film category and 16 films have been selected in the non-feature film category. The Feature film category includes International Documentary Film "DANCE OF SHIVA " directed by Raghunath Manet and Didier Bellocq and produced by Raghunath Manet , Regional Rajasthani Feature Film "BEENDNI NUMBER 1 " directed by Anil Bhoop and produced by Hardik Gupta , Hindi Feature Film "RAGHUVEERAM " directed by Irfan Khalil Khan and produced by MD Asif, Aijaz Dar , Hindi Feature Film "THE LAST LETTER " directed by Hemant Seervi and produced by Geeta Devi and Shashi Mohan Mathur , Regional Bengali Hindi Feature film "CHECK IN CHEQUE OUT " directed by Satrajit Sen and produced by Meghdut Roy Chowdhury and Rajasthani Feature Film "OMLO " directed by Sonu Randeep Choudhary and produced by Rohit Makhija, Neha Pandey, Manish Goplani , Regional Bengali Feature Film "LOST WORLD 2020 " directed and produced by Mitra Mazumder, International Korean - English Feature Film from USA "WELCOME TO VEGAS " directed by Hae Sun Hong and produced by Peter Jin Bae and USA-India-FRANCE Coproduction International Feature Film "THE GREAT DEPARTURE " starring Xavier Samuel, Sonal Sehgal directed by Pierre Filmon and produced by Arvind Reddy .
The Non Feature film category includes Hindi short film "MANU " directed by Ganesh Pareek and produced by Atul Kattukaran, Imran Patel & Ankit Singh , Hindi Short Film "LORD’S SIGNAL " directed by Dhruv Pandav and Charanpal Singh and produced by Charanpal Singh , Regional Marathi Short Film "ANAURAS (ILLEGITIMATE) " directed by Satish Vasant Raste and produced by Pankaj Shankarrao Thakare , Hindi Short Film "MERA SCHOOL " directed by Ganesh Hanmantrao Chowgule and produced by Ganesh Hanmantrao Chowgule , Regional Marathi Short Film "FINGER RING " directed and produced by Advait Dhavale , Short International film from USA "STRAYS " directed by Or Schraiber and produced by Catherine Ann Taylor, Jane Kotlyar, James Rana , Regional Gujrati Student Short Film "MARI AANKHOTHI JOTA (THROUGH MY EYES) " directed by Chirag Solanki and produced by Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune , Regional Tamil Student Short film "RESOLUTION " directed and produced by Varnica Raja , Rajasthani Short Film "ALI ALI " directed and produced by Rishabh Jain , Starring Aaditi Pohankar, Makarand Deshpande in Hindi Short Film "THE PRAYER " directed by Nivedita Pohankar and produced by Makarand Deshpande , Hindi Short Film "DEVIL’S LIST " directed by Shadab Ahmad and produced by Rajessh Singh , Hindi Documentary Film "RAJASTHAN KI ROOH " directed by Aditya Bangia and produced by Rolika Singh , Ad Film "BELLEAME – THE SOUL OF BEAUTY " directed by Anurag Jain and produced by Kashvi Jain and Hindi Short Film "BASANTI TAILORS " directed by Ajay Govind and produced by Drishyam Films & Azim Premji Foundation , Hindi Documentary Film "ABOVE THE LIMITS " directed by Ojaswwee Sharma and produced by Sartaj Lamba, Ojaswwee Sharma and India-Germany-Poland International Short Film " J " directed and Produced by Rafael Stemplewski.
Mr. Somendra Harsh, Managing Trustee of the RIFF Film Club and Founder, CEO, and Festival Director of RIFF, shared, "This year for the 12th Edition of the RIFF, Miraj Cinemas has associated with it as its Venue and Multiplex Partner. The Opening Ceremony of the 12th Rajasthan International Film Festival 2026 will take place on 31st Jan 2026 at Miraj Cinemas, Bluecity Mall, Circuit House Road, Jodhpur, Thereafter Film screenings, Open Forums, Talk Shows , Workshop , Exhibition , Viewing Room Black Box in RIFF Film Market and much more will be held from 31 Jan. to 4 Feb 2026 at Miraj Cinemas, Bluecity Mall, Circuit House Road, Jodhpur and The grand event of RIFF Closing Ceremony and The RIFF Award Night 2026 will be held on 4 February 2026, at the Jaipol, Mehrangarh Fort & Chokelao Mahal Terrace in Jodhpur."
Entries are invited for the Short, Documentary, Animation, Music Video Albums , Web series and Ad films and Feature Films , Regional Films , Rajasthani Films and International Films for the 12th Edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) 2026. The films can be submitted at www.riffjaipur.org and also through FilmFreeWay. Next, the Second deadline to submit the films is 30th November 2025 and the Last deadline to submit the films is 31st December 2025.
