Haryana’s Daya Shankar Selected for Natural Bodybuilding at International Championship in Nepal
An international bodybuilding and powerlifting championship is scheduled to be held on 28 November 2025 in Nepal, organised by the World Power Sports Federation. The Federation is dedicated to bringing together bodybuilders and powerlifters from across India and motivating them to deliver their best on the international stage.
The selection competition was conducted on 16 November 2025 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where all participating athletes were guided through the process. In the natural bodybuilding category, Haryana’s Daya Shankar emerged victorious, securing the gold medal with an impressive performance.
Following his selection for the international championship, Daya Shankar’s family members and relatives expressed immense joy and extended their heartfelt congratulations. They encouraged him to continue working hard and make the nation proud at the global level. Fellow athletes also congratulated him, while his relatives welcomed him with great enthusiasm.
