Colleges Brief Students on SIR Process
Sri Ganganagar – As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists is underway in Sri Ganganagar district. Under the directions of District Election Officer Dr. Manju, information about the digitization of enumeration forms of staff, students, and their family members is being provided through special camps organized in colleges.
On Thursday, a workshop of representatives from private colleges operating at the district headquarters was held at Sri Guru Nanak Khalsa PG College, Sri Ganganagar. Participants were briefed in detail about the SIR process and were given comprehensive guidance on filling student enumeration forms both online and offline.
During the session, doubts related to SIR were clarified, and an enumeration form of a staff member was filled online as a demonstration. Similarly, at DAV College, Sanjay Sharma; at SD College, Shikha Bagai; at SGN Girls College, Surendra Saharan; and at Khalsa College, Somprakash and Mohit motivated students to fill enumeration forms for their acquaintances and appealed to them to contribute towards strengthening democracy.
