Sri Ganganagar : As per the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is progressing across Sri Ganganagar district. Acting on the instructions of Rajasthan’s Chief Electoral Officer, Naveen Mahajan, District Election Officer Dr. Manju honoured and encouraged the BLOs and volunteers who performed exceptionally well by presenting them with commendation certificates from the Chief Electoral Officer.
Following the video conference of the Rajasthan Election Department, the District Election Officer reviewed the ongoing SIR activities and instructed all personnel to complete this nationally significant task with utmost seriousness and sensitivity within the stipulated timeframe. She noted that several BLOs had achieved 100 percent completion in EF distribution and digitisation.
During the programme, the District Election Officer honoured and motivated BLOs and volunteers, including Niranjan Ram (Part No. 8, Sri Karanpur Assembly Constituency), Jaipal Sharma (Part No. 178), Amar Singh (Part No. 244), Kailash Kumar (Part No. 249), and Ghadasir Ram (Part No. 252, Raisinghnagar Assembly Constituency), for their commendable work.
She urged the outstanding BLOs to support other BLOs within their respective constituencies so that the SIR activities across the district could be completed successfully through collective effort.
ADM Administration Subhash Kumar, Zila Parishad CEO Girdhar, Sri Ganganagar ERO Nayan Gautam, IAS Trainee Aditi Yadav, Raisinghnagar ERO Subhash Chandra, Padampur SDM Ajeet Godara, and other officials were also present during the event.
