Barmer : A historic moment was witnessed on Friday in the devotional land of Barmer, as a new gram panchayat named “Baba Ramdev Avatar Dham” came into existence. This development is not merely an administrative step, but a powerful symbol of regional faith and cultural pride. The driving forces behind this milestone have been former BJP District President Swaroop Singh Khara and MLA Aduram Meghwal, whose persistent efforts, public commitment, and deep devotion to Baba Ramdev Ji turned this vision into reality.
As per the order issued by the state government, the following four revenue villages have been included in this newly formed gram panchayat:

The announcement of this gram panchayat has sparked widespread joy and pride among local residents. People are referring to it as “the reincarnation of Ajmal Ghar,” recalling the birthplace of Baba Ramdev Ji in Undu Kashmir (Barmer), where he was born to Ajmal Ji. The formation of this panchayat is being seen as the spiritual reappearance of the revered deity on the same sacred soil. The region is now expected to emerge as a significant hub of religious tourism while also gaining a new identity in terms of folk culture, social harmony, and development.
Baba Ramdev, known for standing against untouchability, discrimination, and communal divides, continues to inspire society through his timeless teachings.
