Udaipur: The vibrant art exhibition ‘Sparsh’, featuring watercolor pencil flower paintings by emerging Surendranagar (Gujarat) artist Dhara Kothari, was inaugurated on Friday evening at Bagore Ki Haveli.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of renowned Udaipur artist Harsh Chhajed, Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts) of West Zone Cultural Centre Durgesh Chandwani, Programme Executive Hemant Mehta, noted sculptor Hemant Joshi, architect and sketch artist Sunil Ladhaji, traveller and influencer Sandeep Rathore, and Gujarat’s celebrated artist and mentor Tarun Kothari, who has been honoured by the India Book of World Records.
The exhibition began with a unique and thoughtful gesture — no lamp lighting, no ribbon cutting, and instead, watering plants as a symbolic appeal to humanity, emphasizing the urgent need to protect nature.
‘Sparsh,’ showcasing beautifully crafted colorful flower artworks, will remain open to the public until 23 November, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The exhibition has been organised with financial support from the Gujarat State Arts Academy.
