Youth Rally Promotes Sports, Rejects Drugs
Golden Rays Public School successfully organized an impactful awareness rally on the theme “Say No to Drugs” to promote a drug-free lifestyle among youth. The rally carried the inspiring slogan: “When drugs are destroyed, the nation will progress.”
Students of Classes 9 and 11 enthusiastically participated in the rally, which passed through two villages — 3Y and Mohanpura — spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction. Participants carried informative posters and raised attention-grabbing slogans to engage the local community.
Students Gurkeet and Bhinder of Class 11 delivered powerful speeches explaining how drug addiction can devastate individuals, families, and society. They also encouraged youth to participate in sports, highlighting that “sports provide positive energy and discipline to life.”
The rally was efficiently coordinated by R.K. Sir, Rupinder Sir, and Jagdeep Madam, with students maintaining excellent discipline throughout. In addition to spreading awareness about drug prevention, students demonstrated good hygiene practices during snacks and meals, setting a strong example for the community.
Residents of both villages appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and sense of social responsibility, noting that such initiatives not only raise awareness among youth but also send a positive message to society.
The management of Golden Rays Public School praised all participating students and teachers and pledged to continue organizing similar community awareness programs in the future. This rally reflects the school’s commitment to combining education with social responsibility.
