National Adult Award Presentation Ceremony on 26th November in Lucknow
Udaipur: The National Adult Award Presentation Ceremony, organized by the India Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, will be held on 26th November at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The event will be part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the grand finale of the 19th National Jamboree.
During the ceremony, the current Udaipur Collector and former Pali Collector, Mr. Namit Mehta, will be honored with the prestigious Silver Elephant Award for the year 2022-23. He is being recognized for his outstanding leadership, exemplary management, and remarkable services during the National Jamboree held in Pali.
According to National Chief Commissioner Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, the award will be presented by Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Mrs. Anandiben Patel, at 3 PM on 26th November at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow.
Awards for selected adult leaders across India:
The ceremony will also honor selected adult Scout and Guide leaders from across the country for 2022-23 with awards including the Silver Elephant, Bar to Silver, and Silver Awards. These awards are conferred by the National Awards Committee to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the scouting movement.
