EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY ORGANISED AT HISAR MILITARY STATION ON 29 NOV 2025
Jaipur, The Indian Army's Dot on Target Division under Headquarters Sapta Shakti Command successfully organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally and medical camp at Hisar Military Station on 29 Nov 2025 for the ten districts of Haryana, namely Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Rohtak and Sirsa. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 1500 veterans, Veer Naris, Veer Matas and their Next of Kin (NoKs) from the region.
The event was attended by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Minister, Haryana as the Chief Guest, along with Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President, Sapta Shakti AWWA and Maj Gen Amit Talwar, GOC, DOT Division. Senior Army officers, civil dignitaries and representatives from various welfare organisations were also in attendance, reaffirming the duties of civil authorities in ensuring sustained support, timely delivery of entitlements and structured engagement with Ex-Servicemen welfare mechanisms. The event commenced with a vibrant cultural programme featuring performances by NCC cadets and military band celebrating the spirit of soldiering and the pivotal role of veterans in Nation building .
Various Record Offices, Banks, Police. MSMEs and Government Welfare Agencies including DIAV, AWPO, ECHS and ZSBs had established help desks and stalls to assist Ex-servicemen in grievances redressal, documentation updates, pension-related queries and employment opportunities. A Medical Camp under the aegis of Military Hospital, Hisar provided health check-ups and specialist consultancy to the attendees.
Army Commander, addressed the veterans & reaffirmed the commitment of Sapta Shakti Command towards ensuring regular communication, interaction, empowerment, felicitation and comprehensive care of our Veterans, Veer Naris and Veer Matas. The Rally culminated with a felicitation ceremony wherein Veer Naris, Veer Matas and War Wounded Veterans were honoured with tokens of appreciation for their distinguished service and sacrifice to the Nation. Additionally, mobility aids including 13 e-scooter, assistive devices and substantial financial aid were presented to a number of disabled Ex-servicemen.
Veterans and Veer Naris expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army and State Government for organising the rally which provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with our veterans, gain awareness of welfare schemes and seek on ground assistance from various agencies.
The Sapta Shakti Command remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare and well-being of Veterans and their families. The Ex-Servicemen Rally 2025 stands as a testament to the Indian Army's enduring bond with its Veterans and Veer Naris, reaffirming the Nation's collective respect, gratitude and responsibility towards those who have served with honour and pride. The event also re-emphasised that Veteran welfare is a shared national obligation requiring integrated efforts from the Army, civil administration and society at large.
