77th Urs of Hazrat Ganj Shaheeda Baba Concludes with the Traditional ‘Kull’ Ceremony

Udaipur: The three-day 77th Urs of Hazrat Ganj Shaheeda Baba, held at the Ambavgarh hill shrine, concluded on Sunday evening with the traditional Kull ki Fatiha following the Asr prayer. The final day began after Zuhr with the soulful Mahfil-e-Sama, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and Sufi fervor.

Daragh Committee President Ghulam Moinuddin Qadri (Raja Bhai) shared that several religious programs were organized at the Astana-e-Aaliya during the Urs. On the third day, the Mahfil-e-Sama featured performances by the shrine’s official Qawwals—Rafiq Mastana Warsi and Mastana Akhlaq Sultani Udaipuri. They began with Hamd-e-Pak, followed by Naat and Manqabat, presenting soulful kalams such as:

“Abre rehmat barsne lagi hai, Urs Ganj Shaheeda chal raha hai…”
“Khushiyan manao sakhi jhoom ke gao, Khwaja Moin ke nare lagao…”
“Ho dulha bane Ganje Shaheeda…”

Their renditions immersed the gathering in a spiritual ambiance.

Renowned Qawwal Zubair Naeem Ajmeri from Jaipur heightened the devotion with kalams including:

“Mujhe aapne bulaya ye karam nahi to kya hai…”
“Tadap ke jab bhi mangaton ne pukara, madad ko aa gaya Ghazi hamara…”
“Kar do karam mere Ganje Shaheeda…”
“Taqdeer mujhe le chal Khwaja ji ki basti mein…”

His powerful performance drew immense applause from devotees.

Daragh Committee spokesperson Mohsin Haider informed that the Kull ki Fatiha commenced after Asr prayers. Qawwal groups together recited the traditional “Rang”. Devotees offered flowers, incense, and Chadar Sharif at the blessed shrine. Fatiha was offered over Doodh-Daliya, which was later distributed as Tabarruk among visitors.

As part of the Kull ceremony, the Imam of the Dargah Mosque, Maulana Babul Hussain, led the Fatiha Khwani, recited Salato-Salaam, and prayed for peace and blessings. Devotees also received Kull ke Chhinte as a mark of blessings.

The excellent arrangements made by the Dargah Committee were widely appreciated. Special recognition was given to President Ghulam Moinuddin Qadri Raja Bhai, Secretary Javed Khan, Nafees Khan, Irfan Khan Chhannu, Mohammad Shaukat, Intikhab Alam, Naeem Khan, Bilal Khan, Sahil Sheikh, Rafe, Hasnain, and other committee members for their dedicated service throughout the Urs.
