Principal William D’Souza shared that during the thrilling event at the SGFI National Swimming Championship being held in Delhi, Sirjan showcased incredible determination and speed. He clinched the silver medal by a margin of just one microsecond—a performance that left spectators and selectors amazed.
From Bronze to Silver — A Journey of Excellence
Yesterday, Sirjan won the bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke, clocking an impressive time of 2 minutes 27.99 seconds. His excellent technique, speed, and mental strength helped him soar even higher today.
His consistent timings in freestyle and backstroke events had already caught the attention of selectors. With multiple medals at district and state levels, Sirjan has proven himself to be a strong and deserving contender at the national stage.
