CDEO Banswara Directs Schools to Improve District Ranking and Complete Departmental Work on Ground

Banswara.Education is a prestigious department known for discipline, dignity, and setting ideal standards. Institution heads must regularly monitor their subordinate schools, promote academic innovation, maintain a clean and efficient learning environment, create enriching surroundings, and ensure that every child—especially those standing last in the queue—benefits fully from all student welfare schemes.

These were the firm directives of Rajendra Kumar Chaubisa, Deputy Director and Chief District Education Officer (CDEO), Banswara. He was addressing 68 PO-Principals of the Ghatol sub-division during an administrative meeting held for the Ganoda–Ghatol region, where he served as the Chief Guest.

Special guests included Administrative Officers Lokesh Shukla, Hemant Bhavsar, Vikram Singh Chandrawat, and Jinendra Jain, while the meeting was chaired by Block Chief Education Officer Keshav Chandra Bamnia.

CDEO Chaubisa reviewed all 12 key points related to improving the district’s ranking and questioned each of the 68 PO-Principals about their performance. He emphasized ensuring high-quality, 100% board exam results, strengthening remedial teaching, and improving performance in the Prakhar 2.0 programme, where he also strongly criticized the lack of effort shown by some institution heads.

Pointing to discrepancies between RajSims and daily attendance records, he termed them indicators of financial irregularities and warned staff to perform government duties with seriousness and accountability. Failing to do so, he cautioned, would lead to strict departmental action.

He instructed all schools to ensure regular attendance of staff and students, proper functioning of SMC, SDMC, PTA, and to make libraries, reading rooms, sports activities, and morning assemblies more effective and purposeful.

Additional directives included completing all online departmental work on time, sending official communications promptly, increasing enrollments, and improving exam results.

During the meeting, Principals Manoj Kumar Meena, Naresh Kumar, and ACBE O Vikram Singh Chandrawat presented a detailed school-wise and PO-Principal-wise progress report on Shala Darpan, U-DISE, and RajSims. Schools were given a strict deadline of two days to achieve 100% completion of pending tasks.

On this occasion, members of the Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh Siyaram warmly felicitated CDEO Chaubisa under the leadership of Dayalal Yadav and Arun Vyas by offering a safa, shawl, Geeta-Bhagwat, and coconut.

Those who participated in the felicitation included Anil Jain, Sheetal Pandya, Ashish Pandya, Manoj Meena, Laxman Damami, and nearly two dozen principals who welcomed the guests with traditional tilak and garlands.

The meeting began with a ceremonial prayer and floral tribute offered at the statue of Goddess Saraswati.
