10-Day Faculty Development Program Concludes
Udaipur: The 10-day online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Emerging Trends in Higher Education: Harnessing AI Tools for Teaching and Research”, jointly organized by Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College (a constituent unit of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth) Pratapnagar and Udaan Educational Services, Ghaziabad, concluded on Wednesday. A total of 202 participants took part in the program.
During the ten days, subject experts including Dr. Girija Rawat (NCERT, New Delhi), Dr. Sameer Shah, Dr. Priya Shukla, Dr. Ritesh Mishra, Dr. Ashish Kumar Awdhiya (IGNOU), Dr. Prakash Pancholi, Prof. Yachna Malhotra, Dr. S.K. Gupta, Dr. Rakhi Gupta (BHU Varanasi), Dr. Anviti Rawat, Dr. Kanchan Phulmali, Prof. Shivani Mishra, Prof. Ankur Goyal, Dr. Yamini Negi, and Prof. Vijeta Banwari delivered presentations and shared insights on topics such as digital transformation in teaching, research methodology and publication ethics, AI-driven research practices, assessment and data-driven education, digital content creation, and personalized learning pathways.
On the final day, participants presented PPTs created using AI tools, as part of the three-session concluding event.
Presiding over the valedictory session, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot stated that AI has established a strong presence across all sectors—education, industry, agriculture, defense, and research. He stressed the importance of staying updated with technological advancements and integrating innovative AI tools in education.
At the beginning of the session, Program Convenor and Director Dr. Gunbala Ameta presented a detailed report on the 10-day FDP.
Dr. Anjali Raj, Founder and Director of Udaan Educational Services, Ghaziabad, delivered the vote of thanks.
Dr. Rekha Darbar served as the FDP Coordinator, while Sabrin Khan conducted the proceedings.
