Administration Takes Strict View of Ground Reality of Government Services
SDMs, Tehsildars Inspect Hospitals, Bus Stands, and Fertilizer Distribution Systems
Udaipur: To ensure better and efficient delivery of government services to the public, Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and Tehsildars across the district carried out an intensive inspection drive on Wednesday under the directions of District Collector Namit Mehta. They examined arrangements at government health centers, bus stands, and reviewed the availability and distribution of fertilizers. Physical inspections of GSS (Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti) and LAMPS were also conducted at the sub-division and tehsil levels.
During the inspections, officials checked the presence of medical staff, availability of medicines, cleanliness, patient facilities, and record maintenance at health centers. At bus stands, they reviewed passenger amenities, sanitation, drinking water facilities, toilets, sheds, and security arrangements.
Given the ongoing agricultural season, officials also assessed fertilizer availability, distribution mechanisms, stock positions, and price lists to ensure smooth supply to farmers.
Officials issued strict on-the-spot instructions to concerned personnel and warned against any negligence that could affect public convenience. They were directed to implement timely corrective measures, strengthen existing arrangements, and ensure regular monitoring for improved service delivery.
