Udaipur, As part of its annual humanitarian initiative, the Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT), Udaipur, continued its winter relief campaign this year to help people cope with the harsh cold weather. On Sunday, 7 December 2025, the team carried out an extensive distribution drive in remote tribal villages located around the Surkhand region of Kanod tehsil.
Under the campaign, 110 woolen blankets were distributed to needy families. To protect children from the cold, 100 woolen caps were provided along with biscuits and chocolates. Later, a relief camp was organized at Gulab Colony in Bhinder, where women received sarees, cotton and woolen clothes, and blankets. Children were also given 40 woolen caps, biscuits, and chocolates.
AMURT Udaipur volunteers also reached out to underprivileged individuals in the city. Led by Sudha Verma, the team distributed woolen blankets to people struggling with the winter chill.
AMURT Secretary Dr. S. K. Verma informed that philanthropists Jagdish Gaur, Ganpat Ji, and Kailash Chandra Chaudhary played a key role in supporting the initiative. The on-ground arrangements were managed by Inder Singh Rathore and Girdhari Lal Soni. The campaign was successfully carried out with the support of Maud Singh, Manju Soni, Omprakash Vyas, Dinesh Sharma, Dr. Gopal Soni, Madan Ji, Kailash Soni, Pushpa Soni, Lalit Prajapat, Kaushiki, and several other team members.
AMURT stated that its efforts to provide winter relief to the needy will continue in the coming weeks.
