Jaipur. On the initiative of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, students studying in grades 9 to 12 in government schools across the state will deliberate on issues related to the future and decisions of youth in the Legislative Assembly on Monday, December 15. This is the first time a Youth Parliament for students from government schools is being held in the Legislative Assembly.
The Youth Parliament will be inaugurated by lighting a lamp by Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Monday, December 15th at 11 am. Education Minister Madan Dilawar and Secretary of the Rajasthan Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Sandeep Sharma, will also be present at the ceremony.
According to assembly sources Students from all 41 districts of the state will be represented in the Youth Parliament being held on Monday in the Legislative Assembly. 164 students from 41 districts studying in government schools from grades 9 to 12 will participate in the Youth Parliament. The youth were selected for the Youth Parliament under the Prabal program, which organizes activities aimed at developing and empowering 21st-century skills. a Block-level Prabal programs were organized in all 378 blocks in August and September. One student and one student from each block level were selected for the district-level program. Two students and two students from each district were selected for the state-level program. The students' life skills, financial literacy, climate change, citizenship, moral values, and teamwork were selected as the criteria for selection. Under the Education Department's Prabal program, one student and one student from each school participated in the block-level program.
The students participating in this Youth Parliament have been selected by the Education Department. Youth from government schools in every district of the state will participate in this Youth Parliament. Students from government schools across the state will sit in the Legislative Assembly on Monday, December 15th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, to deliberate on the topics of "Our Future, Our Decisions," "The Need for Strong Mental Health and Proper Career Guidance for a Strong Future for Adolescents," and "Youth Parliament to Be Live-Broadcast" -* This Youth Parliament will be live-broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
