####A Mesmerising Musical Evening at “Piyush Panwar Night” by Srijan – The Spark; Evergreen Melodies Chase Away the Winter Chill
Renowned Drummer Padma Shri Anandam Shivamani Honoured with Hindustan Zinc Srijan Lifetime Achievement Award
Udaipur:A soulful and memorable musical evening unfolded at the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal as Srijan – The Spark, in association with Hindustan Zinc, hosted the much-awaited Indian Idol fame Piyush Panwar Night. The evergreen melodies and electrifying performances warmed hearts and chased away the winter chill, leaving the audience spellbound.
Piyush Panwar, accompanied by the melodious voice of Bhavya Pandit, delivered a series of captivating duets that added magic to the evening. Together, they performed popular songs such as Deewana Tera, Mitwa, Dard-e-Dil, In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein, Tu Hai Toh Dil Dhadakta Hai, Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin, Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le, O Haseena Zulfon Wali, Megha Re Megha Re, Deva Deva and Yeh Dil Tum Bin. The venue resonated with thunderous applause after every performance.
The duo further enthralled the audience with evergreen classics, patriotic numbers and contemporary youth favourites, including Patta Patta Boota Boota, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Tum Kya Mile, Urvashi Hamma Hamma, Satrangi Re, Yeh Dil Deewana, Sandese Aate Hain from the film Border, Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, Yeh Reshmi Zulfen, Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte, Slow Motion Angreza, Badtameez Dil, Tumse Milke Dil Ka, Kinna Sona Tainu, Mere Rashq-e-Qamar and Ainvayi Ainvayi, keeping the audience thoroughly engaged.
Piyush Panwar also presented a powerful medley paying tribute to legendary singers, including Kishore Kumar, with songs like Toone Maari Entriyaan, Dekha Jo Tujhe Yaar, Tatad Tatad, Malhari, Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag, Main Kardi Rab Rab, Bijuriya and London Thumakda, making the evening truly unforgettable.
As per tradition, Srijan – The Spark also conferred its prestigious awards. The Hindustan Zinc Srijan Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Padma Shri Anandam Shivamani for his outstanding contribution to Indian music.

Srijan Omkarnath Thakur Award – Jaipur-based Shaping India CA Anil Khandelwal
Srijan B.D. Paluskar Award – Chairman of Mehta Group, Mumbai, CA Rakesh Mehta
Adding to the evening’s charm, Padma Shri Anandam Shivamani delighted the audience with a live drum performance. Actor Manohar Teli recited powerful verses from poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s Krishna–Duryodhan Samvaad, earning warm applause. Lyricist Alok Shrivastava mesmerised listeners with a recitation of the Shiv Tandav Stotra, couplets of Amir Khusro, and poetic reflections on Meera’s devotion and philosophy.
Former President of the organisation, Shyam S. Singhi, shared insights into Srijan – The Spark’s journey since its inception, emphasising that the institution not only entertains but also provides a meaningful platform for artists. He announced the upcoming Srijan Music Academy, aimed at nurturing Indian classical and contemporary music for artists from India and abroad.
The event was attended by Patron Prasann Kumar Khamesra, Apex President Rajesh Khamesra, Apex General Secretary Abbas Ali Bandukwala, Secretary Rajendra Bhandari, Treasurer CA Prakash Lodha, along with several members of Srijan. Representing Hindustan Zinc were Vedanta Anupam Nidhi, CSR Head, and Munish Vasudeva, CHRO.
The programme was gracefully compered by Brajendra Seth, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Brajesh Soni.
