Lions Club Sports Carnival “Milap” Lights Up Udaipur with Sixes, Songs and Dandiya Grand Finale Today with Cricket Finals

 

Udaipur:The ongoing Lions Club International District 3233–E2 Sports Carnival “Milap–2025” witnessed an electrifying second day, blending high-octane sports with vibrant cultural celebrations. While thrilling cricket matches unfolded on MB College’s A and B Grounds, the Indoor Stadium buzzed with activity through chess, badminton, table tennis, kho-kho, 100-metre races, carrom, singing competitions and a late-night dandiya fiesta.

In tennis-ball cricket, Udaipur Strikers defeated Jodhpur Royals, with Vishal Nagda named Man of the Match. Shivganj Strikers emerged victorious against Lions of Ajmer, where Vikram Parmar earned Man of the Match honours.
The semi-final clash between Jawai Leopards and Mewar Lions saw Jawai Leopards advance, powered by Jaykumar Berwa (Man of the Match). In the other semi-final, Shivganj Strikers overcame Udaipur Strikers, with Chetan Agrawal shining.

In leather-ball cricket, Parbatsar Royal Strikers defeated Jodhpur Warriors, with Mohit Sharma adjudged Man of the Match. Nagaur Extreme triumphed over Abu Spartans, where Manish Bhaskar took the honours. In the elimination round, Nagaur Extreme again prevailed against Jodhpur Warriors, with Manish Sharma named Man of the Match.

Tennis-ball Cricket Final: Shivganj Strikers vs Jawai Leopards

Leather-ball Cricket Final: Sivanchi Malani Lions vs Nagaur Extreme
Both matches will be played from 8:30 AM.

Grand Closing Ceremony
Former District Governor Anil Nahar announced that the carnival will conclude today at Oriental Palace, Subhash Nagar, with a grand awards ceremony. Winners and runners-up across all competitions will be honoured with trophies and prizes. Distinguished achievers of the district and all newly inducted MJF members will also be felicitated.

The closing ceremony will be graced by Udaipur MLA Tarachand Jain as Chief Guest, along with Multiple District Chairperson Lion Manish Shah (Bhopal), District Governor Ramkishore Garg, Vice District Governor C.P. Vijayvargiya, and senior Lions Club officials.

Milap–2025 has truly celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, culture and camaraderie—culminating today in a spectacular finale. 🏏🎶🕺
