Sanjogta is a dynamic Indian-Dutch "full-package" artist—a singer, dancer, model, actress, composer, songwriter, and choreographer. Representing the new generation of global Indian stars, she blends high-energy performance with a deep connection to her traditional roots.

A Legacy of Music and Migration
Sanjogta’s story is one of heritage and resilience. She is a fifth-generation Indian whose roots trace back to 1873, when her great-grandparents traveled from Bihar/Calcutta to Suriname aboard the ship Lalla Rookh as contract workers. Her parents later migrated from Suriname to the Netherlands, where Sanjogta was born and raised as the third of four children.
She comes from a prestigious lineage of musicians:
Great-Grandfather: A master of the Sarangi and Tabla.
Father: A versatile singer and multi-instrumentalist (Sitar, Tabla, and Harmonium).
Mother: Her first vocal guru.
Though raised in the Netherlands, Sanjogta was brought up with a deep respect for Indian culture and religion, which remain the foundation of her lifestyle and art.
Artistic Disciplines

Beginning her journey at the age of two, Sanjogta has spent her life on stage. She is a versatile choreographer proficient in Indian Classical, Bollywood, Belly Dance, and Zumba. Her talent has been recognized with numerous trophies and prestigious certifications from legends such as Ms. Saroj Khan and Ms. Chandra Sukhai.
Vocal Excellence
Sanjogta’s vocal journey began in temples, singing bhajans taught by her mother. By age eight, she won awards for her rendition of the complex classic "Aap Ki Nazro Ne Samjha," and she recorded her first CD at just nine years old. To refine her craft, she studied Indian Classical music under Shri Koustuv Roy, a disciple of the world-renowned Pandit Ajoy Chakraborthy.

A natural performer, Sanjogta began acting at age two, debuting in a Sarnami/Bhojpuri film. She has since expanded her repertoire through numerous theater productions and school festivals, showcasing a range that spans from traditional drama to modern performance.
